This brand started because we were tired of being lied to by motivational posters.
You know the ones.
Soft pastel font, a photo of a sunrise, some line about how "the universe has a plan for you." Meanwhile you're sitting there with three unread bank notifications and a group chat you've been ignoring for two weeks, wondering why none of that wisdom is landing.
So we started writing the affirmations people actually needed to hear. The ones that tell the truth first and the encouragement second. "You deserve abundance. You should also check your bank app." That kind of thing.
A handful went out as a joke, truly, just venting and stirring up some shit, and people lost it. Turns out a lot of us are exhausted by the relentless positivity industry and just want someone to say "yeah, this is fk'n hard, but also you're going to be fine."
That joke became Bitchy Affirmations.
We built this brand on a simple bet: that you can be kind to yourself without pretending everything's fine, and you can roast your own bad decisions without spiralling about them. Self-help said, "trust the process." The process was a mess. So is everyone's. We're doing fine anyway.
What you'll find here
Affirmations, prints, and digital products that sound like your smartest, funniest friend talking you off a ledge - not a meditation app reading you a script and advising you to just drink more kombucha.
Every product is an instant download, because waiting three days for shipping kind of kills the moment when you need a laugh (or kick up the arse) right now.
No fluff. No spiritual bypassing. No telling you manifestation alone will fix your overdraft. Just honesty, a bit of bite, and the occasional reminder that growth isn't linear and your sleep schedule doesn't need to be sacrificed.
If that sounds like your kind of chaos, you're in the right place.
