Dr. Alla Love, EdD summa cum laude, DMA, MMus 

Dr. Alla Love, EdD summa cum laude, DMA, MMus, was born in Western Siberia, Russia. She commenced formal classical piano lessons at six years of age. Dr. Love graduated from the highly respected and acclaimed St. Petersburg Conservatory earning her EdD Doctoral Degree in Music summa cum laude. After an additional ten years of postgraduate studies under Russian Masters including the Moscow Conservatory and subsequently at the prestigious Professional Institute of Music in Chita, she has the distinction as Master Piano Teacher, Accompanist and Performer.


Dr. Love was appointed as the Director of the Piano Faculty at the highly esteemed Professional Institute of Music in Chita. She held this most rewarding position for seven years.


She serves as judge an adjudicator in national and international competitions in addition to providing master classes in Canada, United States and Russia.


Although classical music is Dr. Love's main profession as Master Piano Teacher and consultant, Dr. Love in addition is an accredited expert in the knowledge and details of Russian and European Art history. Professionally, Dr. Love has consulted regarding art history with the following establishments in St. Petersburg, Russia:

Ms Love resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She conducts private classical piano lessons for students at all levels of experience and consults privately regarding classical piano history and Russian/European art history.

Dr. Alla Love, EdD summa cum laude, DMA, MMus was honoured with the receipt of a Certificate of Commendation presented to her by the House of Commons, Ottawa Canada. Marking the occasion on the dramatic success of a trio of winners at Carnegie Hall New York, the Government of Canada recognizes her Outstanding Work and Contributions in fostering the advancement of pianistic achievements as Master Teacher and Concert Pianist.
