WEATHER ARTICLE UPDATE FROM ZACHARY VEAL:


After a day of a trifecta of snow flurries, gusty winds, and cold temperatures in the 20s, we are looking towards a cold, but quiet night as I will explain below...


TONIGHT: Snow flurries around Metro Detroit will end this evening and we should left with mostly cloudy skies for the remainder of the overnight hours tonight along with both overnight low temperatures only in the upper 20s and light winds W at only 5-10 mph thankfully as compared to the gusty winds we had earlier today!


Sunrise tomorrow on your "Finally Friday" is at 8:01 a.m. EST.


TOMORROW: A very cold day once again tomorrow with some lake effect snow flurries moving along a stiff west-northwest wind that will be blowing at 5-15 mph sustained, but gusts will be upwards of 20 mph, at times too, making wind chill reading only in the upper teens to right around 20 degrees. So, bundle up if you have to be outdoors!

 

Partly cloudy skies with some lingering snow flurries possible tomorrow night along with overnight low temperatures only in the upper teens.


SATURDAY: Mainly partly cloudy skies with perhaps some snow flurries riding along a west-northwest wind that will be blowing at 5-15 mph sustained, but gusts will be upwards of 20 mph, at times too making it feel like it is in the low 20s although the air temperatures will be in the middle-to-upper 20s, for daytime high temperatures. So, bundle up.


Mostly cloudy skies Saturday night along with overnight low temperatures flirting with 20 degrees.


Partly cloudy skies Sunday afternoon along with daytime high temperatures only in the upper 20s once again.


Mostly cloudy skies Sunday night along with overnight low temperatures in the low 20s which is a little warmer I guess you can say from the past few overnight lows.
