The entire Executive Committee and its members would like to congratulate Deborah Locke on being the recipient of the 2024 Carol King Award for Advancing the Profession of Dental Hygiene! Your commitment and dedication to the students and the profession are valiant. We are so proud to have learned from you and to have worked beside you. Thank you for being a continued contributor to the success of the Central component of the NJDHA.
2026 Central scholarships will reopen in November 2025.
The Community Outreach Scholarship is for ALL Central members and MC dental hygiene students and focuses on the role of the dental hygienist in community outreach. The recipient will receive a $750 award and recognition.
The Central Component Scholarship is for MC students only and focuses on Dental Therapy and ADHA involvement. The recipient will receive a $350 award along with a one-year NJDHA membership reimbursement and recognition.
