The Grange
A gracious 1950's mansion situated in upper Durban North. Most rooms have sea views. High ceilings, dark wooden floors, quality furnishings and state of the art bathrooms. Large garden patio and 1st floor roof garden. Wheelchair accessible and family rooms available. Children welcome.
The Grange is in upper Durban North, off the main road in prestigious Monteith Place. Most rooms have sea views. There are restaurants and shops 500m down the road. We are 10 minutes drive north of the CBD and Ushaka Marine world and 10 minutes south of Gateway Theatre of shopping and the swimming beaches of Umhlanga. If you are after sport we are 5 minutes from the beautiful Moses Mabhida Stadium and the Sharks Rugby stadium. In the same area you will find two golf courses as well and a Virgin Active Gym.

Other on site facilities are a swimming pool, braai, parking area - much of it under cover and a leafy garden. Business facilities are also available as is Wifi internet access. Children are welcome at The Grange and we can loan items like a dvd player, dvds, books, pool and beach equipment and we are flexible regarding breakfast items.

The business parks of Umhlanga and La Lucia Ridge are 10 minutes by car. Quality restaurants and general shopping within walking distance.
Our Rooms
Each room has either an extra long queen or twin/king beds. Quality percale sheets, extra large duvets and cotton blankets for the summer months. Ceiling fans. reverse cycle Air con, safe (lap top on request), tea and coffee tray with plunger coffee, hairdryer, clock radio. Some rooms are shower only but they are large showers. State of the art bathrooms with quality porcelain italian and spanish tiles and san ware and frameless shower screens. gEbrit suspended toilets.
