Freelance Coaching: Single lessons are $100 to accommodate travel within a 30-minute radius of Greater Sudbury. When multiple lessons are scheduled at the same location, the rate is reduced to $75 per lesson.
Semi-Private Lesson

One-hour sessions for two riders at a similar level, offering focused coaching with the added benefit of shared momentum. Designed to support progress for both horse and rider in a collaborative setting.

Home Farm

Founded in 2008, Volte Equestrian is the product of Leslie Curran's lifelong passion for horses and over 15 years of professional coaching experience.
With a background in behavioural training, groundwork, dressage, hunter/jumper development, and Pony Club, Leslie is known for her practical, horse-first approach to horsemanship. Her focus extends beyond riding skills alone, emphasizing confidence, communication, and building strong partnerships between horse and rider.
Lessons are offered both at Volte Equestrian's home farm in Lively, Ontario, and through freelance coaching services across Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas.
A limited number of lesson horses are available, with each rider carefully matched based on experience, goals, and suitability. If the right match isn't available, Leslie is always happy to recommend other reputable programs within the local equestrian community.
Whether helping a beginner climb into the saddle for the first time or supporting a rider pursuing new goals, Leslie believes good horsemanship starts with understanding the horse in front of you.
