OUR STORY

Better Covenant Bible College (BCBC) was founded by Dr. John
T. Cahill in August 2020. Dr. Cahill saw a need for an institution
that would offer adults the ability to delve deeper into the
knowledge and understanding of who Jesus Christ is. BCBC was
born through his passion and love for a deeper understanding of
Jesus, and his quest for a deeper understanding of God’s word. It
began with 26 hungry adults coming together to study and gain a
deeper understanding of the Bible.

That first year, an associate degree in Biblical Studies was
offered. Classes were offered from September 2020 to June
2021. In July 2021, 21 of the 26 students were awarded associate degrees.

In 2021, a bachelor’s degree was added to the curriculum, with
the first degrees awarded in July 2022. To further enhance the
institution, a master’s degree program was added in 2022. This
degree is designed to be a two-year program, with the first year
devoted to classroom study and the second year devoted to
writing a thesis.

In September 2024, a doctoral program was added to the curriculum. This too, is a two-year program, with the first year devoted to classroom study and

the second year devoted to writing a dissertation.
