Contributor Guidelines

Broadband Edinburgh welcomes contributions from writers, researchers, and individuals with a strong interest in broadband, connectivity, and digital infrastructure.

We are particularly interested in well-researched articles that provide clear insights into broadband technologies, infrastructure, usage trends, and real-world impacts. Submissions should offer genuine value to readers through analysis, explanation, or informed perspective.

We do not accept promotional content, sponsored articles, or submissions written on behalf of commercial organisations. All content must be original, unpublished, and factually accurate. Claims that are not widely accepted should be supported with credible sources.

Submissions should be written in UK English and maintain a clear, professional tone. Writers are encouraged to submit a short pitch outlining their topic and approach before preparing a full article.

Accepted content may be edited for clarity, tone, and consistency. Contributors will be informed of any significant changes prior to publication.

Author biographies should be brief and relevant. One external link may be included where appropriate.

By submitting content, you confirm that it is your original work and that you have the right to publish it. Broadband Edinburgh reserves the right to publish and archive accepted material indefinitely.

Corrections Policy

Broadband Edinburgh is committed to accuracy and editorial integrity.

If a factual error is identified, we will correct it promptly and provide transparency about the change.

Correction requests can be submitted via the contact form and should include the page URL, a clear explanation of the issue, and any supporting evidence.

Where a correction is made, it will be updated within the content and may include a note indicating the nature and date of the correction.

We do not amend content based on opinion or remove material solely due to disagreement. Corrections apply only to verifiable factual inaccuracies.

If additional evidence becomes available after a request has been declined, it may be resubmitted for further review.
