Director:Desmond Richard is married to Pastor Nanda Richard he is the father of three and a man known for his passion to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the nation of Guyana. He is also the Founder and senior pastor of Word of Life Ministries a Pentecostal church located in the heart of fierce opposition to Christianity. It was amid this persecution that the vision for television was birthed, he was just flicking through the channels one evening and there were programs of every other religion, but no one was preaching the gospel . As the Holy Spirit began to deal with this village preacher he somehow felt the need to try his preaching on television and very soon Word of Life Ministries was on television for about 6 months but then suddenly the owners of the station increased the price and eventually removed him off the air waves.
That was when Pastor Desmond Richard saw the need to have Christian television in Guyana, He first began pursuing the relevant license back in 2010 but they were refused because he did not meet the requirements; the key sentence was that no licenses would be given to a church. But he continued fighting to make this dream a reality, and for the next 10 years was constant battles with the Government and their controlled judiciary, The battle was finally over in 2019 when the Vice President of the Corporative Republic Of Guyana , backed down and ordered the Guyana National Broadcasting Authority to issue him a broadcast licenses CH 23/ CABLE 74 on the Primary spectrum and just like that the church is now on the same platform as the other religions and is having a voice among the most powerful people in the nation of Guyana.

Director: Nandranie Richard is the wife of Pastor Desmond Richard and the mother of three children and currently serves as the co-pastor of Word of Life Ministries. She is a woman that's very much grounded in her faith, her life is built on prayer and constantly revolves around the building up of the kingdom of God. The positive spirit and the friendly atmosphere she creates is definitely impacting the furtherance of FIRSTLIGHT BROADCASTING TELEVISION.
Director: Ramano Doodram is the Corporate Secretary for this Enterprise he is a business man. who is also serving as a musician and an Elder here at
Word Of Life Ministries Church. Director: Ramano Boodram is a man of great integrity a very accountable and dependable individual.

Joel Richard is the Chief Executive Officer of Firstlight Tv whose primary responsibilities include making the major decisions and managing the overall operations and resources of FIRSTLIGHT BROADCASTING, acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and other departments of the station. He is also a lead musician and Youth Pastor at Word of Life Ministries.

Joshus Richard serves as the enterprise's accountant and official record-keeper of all expenditures and income, he is also the lead drummer and an iatrical part of the worship team at Word Of Life Ministries.

Ramona is the administrative assistant here at FIRSTLIGHT BROADCASTING TELEVISION, her duties revolve around managing and distributing information within the office, taking memos and maintaining files. She is in charge of sending and receiving correspondence, as well as greeting clients and customers.
