This is a one hour deep tissue bodywork session.  It is not purposed for a relaxation massage, but for those who need, and seek deep tissue bodywork. Sessions will be performed by Michael Johnson, Lmbt# 7845.

Want to volunteer to receive free bodywork?

We have studnets who are working to learn body therapy for their martial arts training.  They are not professionals, and there is no charge for the bodywork you will receive, but there is no guarantee that it's up to a professionals' standards. 

You are not allowed to tip them, or compensate them for their volunteer work in any way. North Carolina prohibits any person from accepting compensation for any unlicensed person performing body therapy, this includes stretching.

Students are not licensed, nor are they enrolled in an accredited massage therapy school.  We are, however, increasing our student's ability as they work their way towards mastering the martial arts.  If you would like to volunteer, you must fill out a questionnaire and consent of understanding, releasing the school and the student from anything that could go wrong during your session...like accidental death.

  Times and availability do vary greatly.  You will also not be able to request certain students.  They are volunteering their time for the experience, as you are also volunteering your time and body towards the experience.  You must be 18 +, not be under the influence of...take your pick, don't have anything in your system.  You must also be in good health, with no underlying heart or breathing issues.  You must not have any active infections internally or externally and be willing to be transparent to us about your health, lifestyle and honestly...not creepy.  We are protecting our students, but keep in mind, they are training martial arts, so be nice to them.  We are also protecting you.
