Svetlana blends experience in business, sales, customer support and IT with more than a decade of personal study in psychology and the mind–body–spirit connection. Her exploration has included childhood and relational trauma, shadow work, somatic approaches, meditation, energy practices and the impact of food and daily habits on emotional wellbeing.
Having moved through trauma-related challenges, a deep “dark night of the soul,” and kundalini awakening, she now supports others in understanding painful triggers and gently clearing underlying patterns. For almost five decades, Larry provided international engineering consulting and advisory services, specializing in water resources development projects across 25 countries. As he approached the zenith of his engineering career, Larry served as a Resident Advisor for five transformative years, immersed in the design and construction of major dams and hydropower facilities amidst the lush jungles of South Asia.
It was during this extraordinary chapter of his life that Larry encountered the profound wisdom of ancient Eastern metaphysical arts. He delved into the study of the Chakras, Vedic Astrology, Yogic Breathing, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Numerology, allowing these esoteric traditions to enrich his understanding of the world.
Since returning to North America, Larry has passionately continued his exploration and refinement of these sacred arts, weaving together the analytical precision of engineering with the intuitive insights of spirituality. Marni’s career as a writer, editor, college instructor and researcher in diverse fields including natural health and psychology have given her extensive insight into human nature and healing. She has explored childhood trauma, shadow work and different energy practices to effect transformation in others and is excited to share her training with a wider group of people.
She was a lifelong advocate for a sibling with a degenerative disease, which involved intervention with the medical system to speak for the value of holistic nutrition and personalized care. This has given her deep empathy for those struggling with chronic health issues.
In one 2-year period, Marni lost 7 family members. Navigating this situation created a deep compassion and knowledge of the grieving process. It also highlighted the immense individuality of this time, which can leave many feeling excluded from society.
Marni has a BA, MA and a Certificate from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She has taken TCM and Ayurveda courses and follows the work of Carl Jung, Louise Hay, Caroline Myss and others. She is skilled in using herbs, Bach Flower Remedies, essential oils, breathwork, EFT (tapping), nutrition and lifestyle elements to facilitate positive change. Marni is descended from 18th century Niagara herbalist and farmer Adam Green.
