Peaceful societies are created and sustained by positive attitudes, institutions and structures as envisioned by
Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16-peace, justice and strong institutions. The projects envisioned will seek
to provide skills on leadership, advocacy and non-violence so that they can be agents of change and influence
positive transformation of attitudes, institutions and structures in their communities for peace and harmony. It
will engage organizations and communities in cooperative learning and problem solving experiences designed
to enable them inquire what needs and conditions are necessary for assurance of human security individually
and socially.
It’s expected that the leadership skills acquired will enable them contribute to the achievement of SDG 16 by
influencing decision making and systems change at their level of interactions and leadership
