am I maturing? am I growing up?
"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" Luke 2:52
What are signs that you are growing closer to Christ? to become more like Christ:
1. If my life and what I do glorifies God and if I am a motivator for others to do things that glorify God.
2. If I'm growing to love my enemies and offenders the same way I love and bless my friends.
3. I'm maturing if I live to please God but even though I may be displeasing people.
4.I am growing if I can easily forgive, knowing that every day God forgives me easily.
5. I am growing if I pray and live according to His will which is the Word of God.
6.I am maturing if I see my need is in God and depending on God who is All-sufficient (El Shaddai).
This and many more reasons let me see, if I'm growing !!!
Lord, help me to grow to the stature of the perfect man who is Christ. I am sure that, you who started the "good work in Me" will perfect it.I submit to be as clay in the hands of the potter, so mould me and make me after your will. In Jesus name.Amen.
