Being engrained into the fabric of the community is very important to each and every one of us at Peace of Mind.

We listen to those around us and we support other small businesses in the communities we serve.
From the time I started going to music festivals when I was young, I felt a tug at my soul to bring
that same vibe to our community. Opening Peace of Mind allowed our family to bring the love
and giving spirit of the festival right to everyone's front door.
After two successful years in our original location in Sullivan, MO, I started my journey to
expand the number of Peace of Mind locations in Missouri.
Throughout the years, our success has prospered, and it has allowed our company to support
and elevate many other small businesses. Together, we can prevail.
I started working for Peace of Mind at the age of 17 when my father, Scott Micke, opened the
very first Peace of Mind location.
Since day one of this company, I have worked hand-in-hand with my father to learn and master
all aspects of the business.
I grew up learning to operate this business as I watched in awe of the hardworking, giving
nature of my father. All of the wonderful things he did for the community were made possible
through Peace of Mind, and that ignited a passion in my soul.
I currently manage the entire wholesale department for Peace of Mind and, in the footsteps of
my father, I opened my own location in 2022 in Festus, Missouri.
I began working for Peace of Mind in its infant state in 2015. I began my journey as a retail clerk
at Peace of Mind located in Sullivan, Missouri, and utilized that position to learn more about our
products. While working in the retail position, I began listening to customer feedback to get a
better understanding of what the community wanted.
Once Peace of Mind had expanded to include a warehouse, I was immediately approached to
manage it.
In the present day, anything that you purchase in one of our locations has been inspected,
packed, and sent to each location by me.
Since the inception of Peace of Mind in 2015, our family has made it a priority to build a legacy
we can be proud of. As the matriarch of the family, I started this journey as a retail clerk in our
first location, worked my way up to manager, and then ultimately earned the position of regional
manager.
After opening up several more Peace of Mind locations, the need for an AR Department
became increasingly more important. I currently head the AR Department and will continue to
be an active participant in the construction of our legacy.
